About Our Center:
We provide care and education to children ages 6 weeks
to 5 years. We also provide before and after school services to students K
thru 5th grade. During the summer months we offer a Summer Camp
program to school age children up to 12 years.
We
have relocated to Voorhees in March 2000 and have been in operation since
1997. Our center is open from 6:30 am until 6:30 pm Mon-Fri.

561 in Voorhees, NJ and accessible to the Woodcrest or Ashland Hi-Speedline,
RT 295 and the White Horse Pike.
About Our
Director:
Barbara Gentile owns and operates A+
Academy and is on the premises daily. She holds a Bachelor of Arts
degree in English and minor in Early Childhood from Rutgers
University. Barbara began working in the child care field in
1988. She has worked all aspects of the child care field and
continues to attend classes and conferences to better her knowledge of
children and their needs.
About Our Curriculum:
Children
are grouped according to their age, however we understand that all
children are different and grow at their own rate. We have designed
a curriculum that challenges each child to his or her ability. We
offer many structured activities to our students in a fun and
non-competitive atmosphere. Our students are introduced to the world
around them by using hands on experience and play. They enjoy using the High
Reach Curriculum daily
Special
Activities:
A+ Academy offers special weekly
activities in addition to our lesson plans. We have a Karate and
gymnastic program that utilize our recreation room weekly. We host a
Music Program taught by a certified music teacher. We also have our
own Dance Studio where our students sign up for classes. Ms. Felicia
brings here baking skills to our students weekly.
About
Our Parents:
Parents are one of the integral
parts of our center. You are encouraged to visit and Volunteer time
in your child's class. Formal evaluations and conferences are held
twice a year, however, your child's teacher would be happy to speak to you
at any time. Family events are our specialty and we host many!
Recitals, Gym, Shows, Holiday Concerts, Picnics and special trips help
bring staff, children, and families closer together.
