Special Events at A Plus Academy
Kickin Flips
The 2-5-year-old children enjoy the weekly Kickin Flips
program held in the auditorium. They may participate in gymnastics, karate, or
Tiny Tots! The after-schoolers also participate in either advanced karate or
advanced gymnastics.
Miss Nanci's Music Class
Every Thursday morning the 3-5-year-old children participate
in music. The children enjoy going to the auditorium for the weekly
mini-concert! They learn pitch, tempo, beat, new dances, and a lot of great new
songs!
Ballet, Jazz, and Tap
Every Wednesday the 3-5-year olds have the opportunity to
participate in dance class! The children learn the basics of ballet, jazz, and
tap, and they have even learned some popular dance steps!
Baking
On Tuesday mornings the 3-5 year olds have the opportunity
to bake with Miss. Felicia! The bakers make their own cookies and
learn the art of cooking.
Field Trips
The students enjoy going on monthly field trips. They get a
chance to ride on a big bus and travel to various fun places in the area. Our
field trips correlate with the weekly themes for each month!
